Delete your Dalooda data

Dalooda — nz.dalooda.dalooda_app

You can remove most of what you have put into Dalooda without closing your account. Everything below is done by you, in the app, and takes effect straight away. If you want the whole account gone instead, see Delete your account.

A listing

  1. Go to Profile → My listings and open it.
  2. Tap Edit.
  3. Tap the bin at the top (Remove listing).

The listing, its photos and its video go at the same time.

A photo or video, keeping the listing

  1. Open the listing and tap Edit.
  2. Tap the x on the photo or video you want gone.

A saved search

  1. Go to Profile → My saved things.
  2. Tap the bin beside the search.

You stop getting alerts for it immediately.

A place you added to the Thrift Map

A pin is public, and so is the street address under it — worth removing if you added a garage sale at your own house.

  1. Go to Profile → My saved things.
  2. Find it under Places you added to the map.
  3. Tap Take down.

A Showcase post

  1. Open your own post in Showcase.
  2. Choose Delete and confirm.

It disappears from the feed for everyone.

Your CV

  1. Go to Profile and find the CV you uploaded.
  2. Tap Remove.

Only uploaded if you have used the jobs side of Dalooda.

Saved scans

  1. Open Scan and go to your saved finds.
  2. Swipe the one you want gone sideways.

Anything else

Email support@dalooda.co.nz from the address on your account and tell us what you want removed. We action it within 10 working days and confirm by reply.

What we cannot remove

Messages and offers you sent sit in the other person’s conversation as well as yours. Deleting your side would destroy their record of a deal they took part in, so we do not. The same goes for ratings you have given.

Photos and clips are served from a public media store and may stay reachable by direct link for a period after deletion, though they leave the app immediately. Ask us if you need a specific file purged.

We keep the minimum required for tax and legal obligations. None of it identifies you.
